After a very successful start with our first cohort of top HR leaders in January, I'm proud to announce that we are now accepting applicants for our next group participants in the People Leader Accelerator! This is a professional development program designed to help top People Operations, Talent Management, and Human Resources professionals at rapidly growing companies propel their organizations and their careers forward.
Many HR Leaders at high-growth organizations have little or no formal training for the role. We are tightly focused on helping them to succeed.
Participants will become firmly grounded in academic foundations of the HR field, as well as the unique nature of operating within a high-growth environment. Be mentored by experienced high-growth HR leaders, and learn from peers in similar roles at similar organizations.
Upon successful completion, graduates will have the knowledge, the network, and the confidence they need to successfully address the evolving needs of their organizations and to propel their careers forward.
The People Leader Accelerator is an intensive learning program that is designed to allow busy professionals to continue to focus on their demanding day jobs, while simultaneously participating in a rigorous learning experience.
Participants will:
Help their organizations be more successful, faster, with fewer missteps
Address real challenges from within their own organizations
Understand what is important now, and what is coming next for their organizations
Become more credible and effective HR / People Leaders
Build deep relationships with a select group of peers
Receive ongoing mentoring from expert high-growth HR leaders
The People Leader Accelerator was designed by an award-winning management professor (T. Brad Harris, Ph.D.) and two HR leaders, who between them, have held more than a dozen top HR roles at high growth organizations (Carmela Krantz and Andrew Bartlow).
Through a mix of curated readings, in-depth writing assignments, and live interactions, participants will engage in 100+ hours of curriculum, in an intimate cohort-based learning environment.
Essential content includes:
Scholarly Foundations - the most relevant management research
Practical Application - what really works, when to enact change, how to prioritize limited time and resources on what matters most
Core Processes and Programs - what you need to lead an effective People Operations function
Influencing Skills - how to serve as an effective partner to founder/CEOs
Participants in the People Leader Accelerator will:
Spend 5-8 hours each week engaging with the cohort and curriculum
Learn from practical and scholarly readings
Apply principles through weekly homework and writing assignments
Participate in weekly live video discussions with their peers
Interact socially (in-person as health protocols allows) with their peers, faculty, and outside experts
Address real challenges in their current organizations
Develop a trusted network of peers in similar roles at similar organizations
The cost to join the next cohort beginning in mid-July 2021 is $7,950. Attendance will be limited to a very small group to facilitate personal group interactions.
Applications will be accepted beginning March 15 through June 11. Early bird pricing is available through May 1 for $6,500.
